Thunderstore Watcher
A Discord bot that posts when your favourite Thunderstore mods update, or when new mods land for your game, with changelogs.
A Discord bot that watches Thunderstore and posts in a channel when something changes. It works with every game on Thunderstore.
Commands
/watch mod— post whenever a mod releases a new version, with its changelog/watch community— post whenever a brand-new mod appears for a game/watch updates— post every new version of any mod in a game’s community/unwatchand/watches— stop a watch, or list what the server follows/help— how the bot works
How it works
A Cloudflare Worker handles Discord’s slash-command interactions, and a cron trigger checks Thunderstore every five minutes. Watches and the last-seen versions live in Cloudflare D1, so adding a watch never floods the channel with a backlog, only what changes after that. Announcements never ping anyone, and if the bot loses access to a channel it cleans up that channel’s watches.
Each mod is posted as a card with its icon, author and a link to its Thunderstore page.
